The Service Guild Membership Application - Class of 2026

The Service Guild Logo

The Service Guild is dedicated to supporting the mission and programs of the Bell Center through volunteer service, fundraising, and community engagement. In partnership with The Bell Center's Early Intervention programs, our members work together to make a meaningful and impactful difference in the lives of children at risk for developmental delay and their families by offering time, talents, and resources to foster inclusion, growth, and hope within our community.

The Bell Center is dedicated to maximizing the potential of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay. Since 1984, The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs has provided quality early intervention services in a center-based program in Birmingham. Here, infants and toddlers at risk for developmental delay receive services from transdisciplinary teams which include a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a speech-language pathologist and an early childhood special education teacher as each child works on specific individual developmental goals.

Membership in the Service Guild offers a meaningful opportunity to share your gifts- and develop new ones- while making a lasting impact in the community. Service Guild members make a powerful difference in the lives of children and families at the Bell Center, all while forming lifelong friendships along the way.

Each volunteer has the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with a child in the Bell Center classroom, building relationships that inspire and uplift. In addition to classroom involvement, members can serve as Bell Runners in honor of their Bell Buddy, participate in the annual Guild Gala, and take part in many other service and fundraising opportunities throughout the year.

We hope you'll consider exploring the meaningful impact our members make each year. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please feel free to contact us- we'd love to share more about how you can get involved.

Kind Regards,
